Day 1 Nadi
The gateway to this Fijian exploration is a bustling island city that conceals pockets of calm within the chaos. Saunter through orchid gardens at the foothills of the Sobeto Mountain Range, or discover tranquillity at the Sri Siva Subramaniya temple.
Days 2-3 Namatakula
After a market tour in the fertile Sigatoka Valley, be welcomed into village life the traditional way with an evening 'sevu sevu' ceremony in the village of Namatakula. After an offering of kava - a brew derived from a root crop - dance and sing with the locals in their community hall. Feast on an authentic 'lovo' meal of vegetables and meat wrapped in banana leaves and roasted in an underground oven, islander-style.
Day 4 Suva
Fiji's capital is a beautiful harbour city perched on a hilly peninsula, with a fascinating blend of ethnic communities. Immerse yourself in Suva's cosmopolitan flavour while strolling past colonial architecture set between modern buildings. Mingle in cafes with students from the University of the South Pacific, visit the National Museum and Botanic Gardens or take in a Bollywood flick. Escape the hustle and bustle in Colo i Suva Forest Park, where trails wind through lush forests to hidden waterfalls and swimming holes.
Day 5 Nadi
Catch a glimpse of everyday Fijian lifestyles, passing through villages, farms and roadstalls en route back to Nadi. In town, there is a chance to stock up on souvenirs or enjoy the local nightlife.
Days 6-8 Yasawa Islands/ Nadi
The essential South Pacific experience is waiting in this archipelago of volcanic islands fringed by white sandy beaches and turquoise waters teeming with tropical delights. Swim, snorkel, visit a local village or simply while away the hours in your very own slice of paradise.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.

I was debating wether to do the trip or to explore fiji on my own. I am so glad that I did the trip, I felt I experienced the 'real' fiji,
by staying in the villages and meeting the local people. I had a great time and met some amazing people.
Laura Swindlehurst
Our guide, Leno was very personable, helpful and cheeful and provide us with discovery and insights into the culture of the Fiji people.
Elke Ingram
a disappointing tour - the guide makes or breaks the tour and this one was not up to the standard I have previously experienced with intrepid, not by a long way.
Caron Smith
I had a lovely holiday.
