Day 1 Tunnel Creek
Our experience in the Kimberley Gorges begins with a visit to the renowned 'Boab Prison Tree' in Derby, before travelling along the famous Gibb River Road to the ancient Napier Ranges. Explore Tunnel Creek, a dramatic cave system carved through a 350 million year old Devonian reef system. Learn about the legend of Jandamarra, an Aboriginal freedom fighter who used the Tunnel as a hideout in the late 1800's. After exploring this immense cave system, take a dip in an idyllic waterhole. Finish the day with a delicious BBQ dinner under the sparkling Kimberley night sky.
Day 2 Windjana Gorge/ Cattle Station
Walk deep into the heart of majestic Windjana Gorge and search for freshwater crocodiles, bird life and Indigenous bushtucker and hear the dreamtime stories of the area. Freshen up with an afternoon swim amongst the water lilies at Galvins Gorge, a large pool surrounded by lush remnant rainforest. Spend the night camped by a shady Kimberley billabong.
Day 3 Manning Falls/ Silent Grove
Explore wandering streams, uncover local wildlife and take a dip in the waterfall pools at Manning Falls. Travel west to the tranquil waterhole of Adcock Gorge before a night spent in the shadows of the King Leopold Ranges, at the peaceful Silent Grove campsite.
Day 4 Bell Gorge/ Broome
Spend the final morning exploring Bell Gorge, a hidden highlight of the West Kimberley. This idyllic retreat, considered amongst the most beautiful in the area, boasts cascading waterfalls and crystal clear pools formed over millions of years - an easy place to while away a few hours! Return to Broome via Kimberley cattle country.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.
