Day 1 Delhi
See the sights of the city from a different perspective, travelling by metro and cycle-rickshaw to Old Delhi to visit India's oldest mosque.
Day 2 Agra
A dream in white marble on the banks of the Yamuna River, the Taj Mahal is one of the world's most graceful buildings.
Days 3-4 Jaipur
Enjoy a traditional thali lunch at the deserted Mughal kingdom of Fatepur Sikri. Explore the palaces and bazaars of Rajastan's Pink City of Jaipur, including the impressive Palace of the Winds, and travel out to the old capital of Amber.
Days 5-6 Shekhawati
The heavily decorated havelis, home to merchants in the days of the great camel caravans, make for a spectacular open-air museum. Gain an insight into rural Rajasthani life as we explore the town and surrounding area.
Day 7 Bikaner
Travel deep into the Thar Desert. See the Karni Mata Temple and take a camel cart ride to a nearby farm for an evening of Rajasthani food, music and dance.
Days 8-10 Jaisalmer
Travel through the desert to the sandstone citadel of Jaisalmer, a trading centre for the nomadic people of the area. Explore the markets hidden among the twisting alleys and take a camel safari out into the dunes.
Day 11 Jodhpur
Take in the fantastic views from the ramparts of the Meherangarh Fort amd explore chaotic Jodhpur. In the evening perhaps sit back with a sunset cocktail on the terrace of the Umaid Bhavan Palace, watching the sun set behind the fort.
Days 12-13 Udaipur
A vision of splendour with white marble palaces and lakes, Udaipur is Rajasthan's artistic heart and the shopping is great. For a unique souvenir pick up an Udaipur specialty, a famed miniature painting.
Days 14-15 Delhi
The magical Rajasthan experience comes to a close back in fascinating Delhi.
