Day 1 Lima
Begin this trip with an orientation tour. Uncover the treasures of this city's excellent museums and churches.
Day 2 Ballestas Islands/ Nazca
A boat tour will reveal the abundant wildlife of the Ballestas Islands. Stop off at Ica to see enormous sand dunes and sample Pisco at a distillery, before crossing the desert to see the puzzling Nazca Lines. There is an option here to take to the air for the best views of this ancient mystery.
Day 3 Puerto Inca
Travel down Peru's rugged coast and watch sea lions lazing on the beach in Atiquipa.
Days 4-5 Arequipa
Soak up Spanish colonial charm in Arequipa, starting with a walking tour of the city. Many of the buildings here were built out of a pale volcanic rock, creating a dazzling effect in the sunshine.
Days 6-7 Puno/ Lake Titicaca
The unique floating islands of the Uros people are sure to fascinate on a boat tour of the majestic Lake Titicaca.
Days 8-9 Cuzco
This city's status as the hub of the Inca Empire is readily apparent in its traditions and architecture. Explore at your leisure, discovering the Inca ruins, colonial architecture and Baroque churches that dot the city.
Day 10 Sacred Valley
Visit the artistic Pisac market town and geometrically aligned Ollantaytambo in this important agricultural area.
Day 11 Aguas Calientes
Soaking in thermal baths and swimming are popular activities in Aguas Calientes.
Days 12-13 Machu Picchu/ Cuzco
Enjoy a guided walk through the amazing Machu Picchu ruins, learning the history of the ancient site and marvelling at its structure and setting.
Days 14-15 Lima
Bargain hard at the markets for that perfect Peruvian memento.
