Ko Samui Sailing Adventure SummaryAdd to Shortlist
Cast away from Ko Samui on a tropical sailing journey around Thailand's eastern archipelago. Cruise around the 42 islands dotted throughout Ang Thong Marine Park, stopping off at prime snorkelling and kayaking spots along the way. Hike to the top of Emerald Lake for an incredible sunset view.
Finish an exhausting day of snorkelling, sailing and kayaking with a barbecue dinner on a secluded beach. Unwind with some Chang beers in the moonlight or have a midnight adventure fishing for squid in the shallows of the island.
Cruise to the chilled-out island of Ko Tao for a few more lazy days sitting on a beach studded with palm trees. Grab a snorkel and mask to mingle with a wealth of curious marine life, or perhaps hang out on deck with a good book and a bowl of fresh fruit. As the sun sets, order a margarita and some authentic Thai cuisine to really sink into that island vibe.
After reconnecting with civilisation we set sail for Mango Bay, a bay on the northern tip of Ko Tao. Surrounded by limestone cliff faces, turquoise waters and jungled hillsides, this is one of the most scenically beautiful places in the archipelago.
Jump straight off the boat and into a world of beauty on Ko Pha-Ngan. Stretch out on a fresh patch of powdery white sand, walk to Than Sadet Waterfall or unwind with a beer as the sun sets over the island.
On the other side of Ko Pha-Ngan, forget about relaxation and opt for some party-infused fun. Haad Rin Beach is the home of Thailand's infamous full moon parties, but if you would rather swap vodka for kuay tiew (noodle soup), there is also a plethora of traditional restaurants that feed foodies and revellers alike.
All good things must come to an end, so enjoy a final swim in the pristine waters before pulling into the final destination, Ko Samui. Pull down the sails, farewell the captain and say goodbye to a blissful adventure along the Thailand's east coast.
