Kick start the day with a walk to the banks of the Chao Phraya River and board a longtail boat to discover the city's khlongs. Next up is a guided tour of Wat Pho to see the huge reclining Buddha. The temple is the centre of the Buddhist religion in Thailand and regarded as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. The final place to tick off on the sightseeing list is the ornate Grand Palace.
