Fancy some outdoor activity in a tropical paradise? Now's your chance as we launch into the remote highlands of Northern Thailand from Bangkok, one of Asia's most cosmopolitan cities. Travel into steamy rainforests on foot to visit colourful hilltribes, cruise down the River Kwai on kayaks and explore the lesser-known side of Chiang Mai from a bicycle. The diversity of exciting outdoor options makes Thailand a haven for adventurers.

Explore quiet backstreets on a bike to gain insight into life in Bangkok. Tour around in a tuk-tuk, paying a visit to fascinating cultural attractions like the Grand Palace or Wat Pho.
Get back to nature in the thick, green forests of northern Thailand during three days of trekking to hilltribe villages. Hike beneath enormous trees, ramble between emerald rice paddies and dive under rushing waterfalls. Stay in traditional Karen villages, discovering intriguing hilltribe traditions and meeting friendly locals.
Pedal along narrow paths through seldom-visited neighbourhoods surrounding Chiang Ma. After a day spent in the saddle, perhaps soothe muscles by enjoying a soak in a traditional mud bath. Thrill-seekers can also take the opportunity to go rock-climbing at Mae On. After the sun goes down, hit Chiang Mai’s popular Night Bazaar and indulge in a fragrant green curry or haggle over brightly coloured bargains.
Pay homage to those who perished during the construction of the Death Railway before exploring tranquil Kanchanaburi. After getting a history lesson at the Hellfire Pass Memorial, kayak along the River Kwai to see nearby farming villages before spending the night under the stars in a jungle hut. Why not celebrate the penultimate evening of the adventure with a relaxed group dinner.
The journey comes full circle on the busy streets of Bangkok. City sights still wait to be uncovered for those who can stay an extra day or two.
