Day 2 Doi Suthep Temple/Cycling

After breakfast, head off to visit the temple complex of Doi Suthep and climb the 300 steps of its naga stairway. Be rewarded at the top with spectacular panoramas. Later, saddle up for a cycling adventure through green fields following the Ping River downstream. Call into a former leper colony, now a rehabilitation centre, to gain insight into the activities of the missionaries in days gone by. Continue on to discover the real rural Thailand, cruising past orchards, farms and the occasional colourful village. Explore the temple ruins of Wiang Kum Kam on the way back into town.
