Day 1 Stone Town/Beach Resort
Arrive and be instantly enchanted by the exotic allure of the 'Spice Island'. Explore Stone Town, Zanzibar's oldest sector. Wander through bright bazaars and down twisting, cobbled streets, past the intricately carved ornate doors of houses and mosques. The architecture here has been shaped by generations of explorers and spice traders and provides many interesting photographic opportunities. Settle in to the accomodation, situated right on the palm-fringed coastline, where a sandy beach stretches out to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

Days 2-4 Beach Resort
Explore the island and its hidden treasures at a relaxed pace. Travel deep into the interior to see the fragrant spice plantations. Discover how pods, bark, buds and berries are harvested and dried. The intoxicating aromas of fresh cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg will delight the senses and stimulate appetites, so be sure to sample the sweet tropical fruits, fresh seafood and zesty curries Zanzibar is famous for. Enjoy free time to relax on the beaches and swim, snorkel or dive in the clear, warm waters. A cocktail and a golden sunset go hand in hand, so be sure to indulge as the sun melts away and day turns to night. In the evening, wander the streets and choose a restaurant in which to kick back and enjoy good company and delicious cuisine.
