Hike through lush rainforest and spot monkeys in the overhead canopy

Rainforest gives way to rolling alpine meadows and the path crosses several ravines on a trek to Horombo Hut. Spend the night in the shadow of Kibo and Mawenzi.

Take a slower pace as the air begins to thin closer to the peak of Kilimanjaro.

Rise in the middle of the night, zigzag up a scree slope by lamplight and arrive at Gilman's Point in time to watch the sun rise. Continue the final trek upwards to reach the highest point in Africa, the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Descend through alpine meadows and lush rainforests to Marangu and relax tired muscles with a hot shower.
