Welcome to Kenya! Nairobi offers a bustling urban African setting. Get your first glimpse of wildlife at the Langata Giraffe Sanctuary.
Head to Arusha - the safari capital of Tanzania - and take a camel ride to a Maasai village. After soaking up their legendary culture, return to Arusha to browse the arts and crafts on display in the markets.
It's time to go on safari! The vast, grassy Serengeti plains of Tanzania shelter big cats, wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. Venture out to spot them in the cooler hours of the early morning and late afternoon. Camp in the park, falling asleep to its nocturnal sounds. In the morning, perhaps take an optional balloon ride for an unforgettable sunrise over Tanzania's dramatic landscape.
Explore the animal-filled extinct volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater, on a drive with a local guide. The crater is home to a diverse array of wildlife including rhinos, lions, leopards and elephants. After exciting encounters with the animal kingdom, set up camp in the village of Mto Wa Mbu.
Visit an inspirational school for village kids before witnessing the day-to-day life of the crop-growing Chagga people during a fascinating community visit.
Spend two nights in Tanzania's lush Usambara mountains. Take a walk from Lushoto to the Irente Viewpoint for amazing views of the terrain. Have fun learning about rural life while visiting a cultural centre and a working farm.
Leave the mountains behind and travel to Tanzania's tropical coast to camp beside gorgeous Kipepeo Beach in Dar es Salaam. Spend free time here visiting nearby villages, lazing by the water or watching camels, cows and goats being herded across the sand.
Wander the cobblestone streets of historic Stone Town. Visit a spice plantation and breathe in the scent of fresh vanilla, cinnamon and ginger. Use free time to relax on the beautiful Zanzibar beaches, splash in the warm Indian Ocean or swim in the hotel pool.
Return to the bustling port city of Dar es Salaam, where this fun-filled adventure ends.
