Walking in Andalucia Itinerary

Explore the villages surrounding Seville, the capital of Andalucia. Using the idyllic Cortijo Rosario as a base, start the trip with a walk over gently rolling hills to the village of Villanueva. Take a circular walk around the impressive Penon crag on day two, which gives a spectacular view of Cortijo Rosario. Perhaps indulge in fine Andalucian produce at a village restaurant serving delicious local tapas. Journey through Algamitas and begin day three with an exploration of the atmospheric Canos Santos monastery before embarking on a walk along the Ruta de los Molinas, famed for the Quixote-style windmills that dot the landscape.

A day trip to Seville gives a change of scenery and pace. With a free day to explore, there is a myriad of fascinating museums, gardens and World Heritage-listed buildings waiting to be discovered.
