Days 1-2 Madrid
Arrive in cosmopolitan Madrid and be seduced by this city bursting with sophistication, style, art, culture, fine food and incredible nightlife. Marvel at world-class artworks on display at Museo del Prado, Museo Reina Sofia and Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. Nibble on tapas in Plaza Mayor, escape to the botanical oasis of Real Jardin Botanico or party the night away with locals in one of the thumping night spots in Gran Via. Get a dose of old-world Spain on a day trip to the medieval city of Toledo.

Days 3-4 Granada
Explore Andalucia's most vibrant city, Granada. Wander among charming plazas and whitewashed houses in the maze-like Arab Quarter of Albayzin, and head to the Mirador de San Nicolas for a remarkable panorama of the Sierra Nevada. Glimpse the decadence of yesteryear at Alhambra Palace, initially built by Moorish kings as a fortress. With soaring domes adorned with geometric patterns, ornately decorated rooms and lavish gardens, the sprawling complex will impress history-buffs, architecture-enthusiasts and garden-lovers alike.

Days 5-6 Ronda
Head for the hills of Andalucia to cyle through charismatic Ronda, a town split in two by a 100 m deep gorge. Snap photographs of the historic Puento Neuvo (new bridge) - which connects the old Moorish town with the newer El Mercadillo - and the Plaza de Toros bullfighting ring where Spanish bullfighting legends were born. Savour panoramic views of the surrounding peaks from the gardens behind the ring, and perhaps visit the Museum of Bandits to learn of unsavoury characters who would hide out in the mountains after criminal escapades.

Days 7-8 Seville
Feel the searing passions and fiery rhythms that course through Spain's cultural veins at an authentic flamenco performance in Seville. Witness the melding of emotion, action and colour in this truly thrilling form of artistic expression. Climb the 76 m high tower of the world's largest gothic cathedral, La Giralda, for sky-high views of Seville. Afterwards, perhaps sample some of the tantalising morsels on offer in the tapas capital of Spain.
