Day 1 Johannesburg/Kruger National Park

Depart the urban sprawl of Johannesburg and discover the vast plains of Kruger National Park, stomping ground of the Big Five. The park is home to 150 species of mammals, including cheetahs, lions and zebras, plus an abundance of bird and reptile species. Grab the camera, jump aboard an open safari vehicle and set out into one of the world's great wildlife havens.

Day 2 Kruger National Park

Depart at first light for an entire day's game viewing. With a bit of luck there'll be lions, elephants and maybe a giraffe or two for the spotting. Come evening, head out for a sunset safari drive and the chance to spy Kruger's nocturnal predators.

Day 3 Greater Kruger National Park

Make the most of another full day's game viewing in Kruger, before travelling on to a private reserve in the late afternoon. With evening setting in, make for the bar and indulge in a few sundowners as another action-packed day comes to a close.

Day 4 Day 4 Greater Kruger National Park/Johannesburg

Complete the safari experience with an early morning nature walk in the company of a professional field guide. Get insider tips on how to read animal tracks and recognise bird species from a distance. Drive along the Drakensberg Escarpment on the way back to Johannesburg, stopping off en route to see the spectacular Three Rondavels and Blyde River Canyon. Arrive back in Johannesburg, where this short but thrilling wildlife adventure comes to an end.
