Day 1 Johannesburg/Greater Kruger National Park

Depart the heart and soul of modern South Africa early in the morning to start the safari adventure of a lifetime. Travel from Johannesburg and arrive in the Greater Kruger area just in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon on dramatic game drives in open 4x4 vehicles through a private game reserve. There's plenty to see here so keep an eye out for Africa's Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos and buffaloes. Afterwards, return to a comfortable lodge on the outskirts of Kruger National Park and relive stories of close encounters over a traditional South African meal around a log fire.
