Arrive in time for a late afternoon game drive in a private reserve. This is the first golden opportunity to spot Africa's legendary wildlife. Stop to enjoy a drink at one of the waterholes, and then continue the safari as dusk settles over the African bush. In the evening, share a traditional South African meal before retiring to sleep in a comfortable lodge on the outskirts of Kruger.
Spend the day on thrilling game drives along some of the Kruger's best routes. From the safari vehicle, try to spot the Big Five - elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards and buffaloes. Admire various colourful bird species and visit waterholes - the perfect places to spy some of the park's more elusive inhabitants as they come to drink.
At daybreak, head out on a morning walk with an expert local guide and uncover some secrets of African nature. Learn about various animal and bird species as well as the many plants that flourish within the reserve.
