Day 2 Cape Town Walking Tour

Stroll along roads that hold over 350 years of history. Better understand the challenges of the Dutch settlers, colonial life, the hardships of slavery and the tragedy of the apartheid era. Leave the tour with a new-found understanding of the ‘Rainbow Nation’, knowing where the country has been and where it hopes to stand in the future.

Day 3 Cape Town/Cape Point Peninsula/Winelands

Escape the city and hit up the windingly scenic Winelands. Chill out while driving along the Cape Peninsula, stopping off at Camps Bay, Cape Point Nature Reserve and the Cape of Good Hope for a quick photo op. See Groot Drakenstein Prison, where Nelson Mandela spent two years before his release in 1990, before spending an afternoon relaxing in Stellenbosch. Indulge in South Africa’s premier wine region, sampling the best drops in the area or explore the town and take a hike around the picturesque wine estates.

Today Cape town is your oyster. Pick and choose from the best activities in the city. Perhaps admire the spectacular view from the top of Table Mountain, head to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were detained, take in the atmosphere of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront or experience a hop-on-hop-off sightseeing tour around the city. Unwind in the evening with a group dinner and another few glasses of the region’s best vino.
