What do you love about sailing?
A feeling of freedom and the realisation that with a good wind you can go wherever you want.

How long have you been a skipper?
I started sailing when I was twelve years old, but as a skipper I started working when I was twenty years old.

Where in the world have you sailed, and is there a destination that stands out for you? Why?
Croatia, Croatia, Croatia - beautiful coast, friendly people, good food and, of course, the best wine... And many more reasons!

What’s the strangest (or most adventurous) experience you've had at sea?
The trip that has most remained in my memory is delivering a yacht from Dubrovnik to Pula. The delivery is usually done in two days, but because of wind gusts from 50-60kt (the north wind-Bora), it took me twice the amount of time. I had to do it on my own so it was a rough sail all the way around! If you weren't a skipper, what would you be doing? Ha-ha, likely an Astronaut

What's your best tip to someone who has never sailed to help them make the most of a sailing holiday?
Just relax and enjoy every moment on board. Of course try to learn a few things about sailing.

Any tips to avoid sea-sickness?
Enough water, shade and fresh air, and spend as much as possible time outside!
