Day 14 Bolivian Altiplano

Days 15-17 Uyuni/Salar de Uyuni

Days 22-23 Copacabana

Discover Copacabana, a picturesque town situated on the shores of Lake Titicaca with an amazing Moorish style cathedral. Hike over the car-free Island of the Sun and discover its scenic heart. Widely believed to be the birthplace of Inca culture, there are plenty of ruins to explore.

Day 24 Lake Titicaca/Puno

Meet the locals of the floating, man-made Uros islands on Lake Titicaca.

Days 25-26 Cuzco

Spot the ancient funerary towers of Sillustani rising from the windswept antiplano. Then travel to Cuzco where there are plenty of adventure activities on offer.

Days 27-30 Inca Trail/Quecha Community Trek

Embark on an unforgettable Andean trek. Follow the steps of the ancient Incas through breathtaking scenery and past remote Quechua villages.

Day 31 Machu Picchu/Cuzco

Day 32 Cuzco

Days 34-35 Chivay/Colca Canyon

Try to spot the mighty Andean condors as they silently take to the sky thousands of metres above the floor of the breathtaking Colca Canyon.

Days 36-37 Arequipa

Explore the scenic city of Arequipa and perhaps stop by the Museo Santury to view Juanita, the ice princess. The body of this frozen Inca maiden is thought to be more than 500 years-old and was found at a sacrificial site on the summit of Nevado Ampato.

Day 38 Puerto Inca

Day 40 Paracas National Reserve

Pitch a tent in Paracas, which spans over 335,000 hectares and is home to one of the world's most important marine reserves. Take a walk along the coastline and spot the vibrant birdlife this region is famous for.

Days 41-42 Ballestas Islands/Lima

Spot penguins, sea lions and boobies during a boat ride through the Ballestas Islands. Get acquainted with Peru's modern capital, Lima - there's plenty to see in this vibrant metropolis.

Days 43-44 Huanchaco

Pitch a tent at seaside Huanchaco, home to the surfing fishermen. Walk along the shoreline and watch these skilful fishermen among the waves, balancing on their narrow reed canoes. Perhaps even give this method a try to discover how difficult it really is! Spend a full day exploring the ruins of Chan Chan, the largest pre-Columbian city in South America. Visit the Temples of the Sun and the Moon, huge crumbling pyramids built from an estimated 140 million adobe bricks.

Days 45-47 Punta Sal

Seaside activities abound in Punta Sal, a haven of sun, surf and sand. Perhaps enjoy deep-sea fishing, explore the scenic shoreline by boat or simply kick back on the beach with a good book.

Days 48-49 Cuenca

Farewell Peru and discover the production secrets of Ecuador's iconic Panama hat during a factory tour. Head out shopping for one of these hats or maybe ramble through Cuenca's scenic streets and shady plazas.

Day 50 Riobamba

Be treated to more stunning scenery on the journey towards Riobamba.

Days 51-52 Chugchilan/Quilotoa Loop

Enjoy spectacular views while driving along the winding Quilotoa Loop. Stretch legs on a guided trek and stay overnight in an eco-lodge nestled on the slopes of the Rio Toachi Canyon.

Days 53-55 Rio Verde

Days 57-59 Amazon Jungle

The lush jungle of the upper Amazon Basin is one of the world's most biologically diverse regions. Set off on treks heading deep into the heart of the Amazon jungle. Visit freshwater pools inhabited by caimans and canoe down twisting rivers to meet hospitable locals.

Days 60-61 Quito

Wander the quaint cobbled streets of Quito, Ecuador's capital and enjoy a meal in one of the many great restaurants or explore some of the attractions dotted throughout this breathtaking city - from cathedrals and churches, to lookouts and plazas.

Farewell Ecuador and travel across the border into Colombia. Browse through the array of bright textiles and colourful crafts available at the famous markets of Otavalo.
