Day 1 Lima

Welcome to Peru! Dive into the sights and delights of Lima and let the Peruvian adventure begin.

Day 2 Pisco

Set out on a guided downtown tour of Lima before heading to Pisco, birthplace of Peru's much acclaimed national libation.

Day 3 Nazca

Wildlife enthusiasts can opt to visit the Paracas National Reserve, which is a haven for birdlife, for a chance to spot pelicans, red-footed boobies and flamingos. Photograph the dramatic sand dunes and picturesque lagoon of Huacachina before heading to one of the world's most mysterious archaeological sites, the Nazca Lines. Explore the eerie desert graveyard of Chauchilla, where the arid conditions have naturally interred the remains of the Nazca people buried here.

Days 4-5 Arequipa

Situated at the foot of imposing El Misti Volcano and replete with colonial architecture, Arequipa's charm quickly becomes evident. Visit the Monasterio de Santa Catalina for an insight into what life was like in the religious service and marvel at the gleaming buildings fashioned from pale volcanic rock.

Days 6-7 Chivay/Colca Canyon

Spot llamas, alpacas and vicunas – wild ancestors of the alpaca – on the way to Chivay. Gaze in awe at the depth of the Colca Canyon while keeping an eye out for the resident Andean condors, one of the world's largest flying birds. Days 18-19 Amazon Jungle
