Days 16-17 Iguazu falls

Taller than Niagara Falls and twice as wide, the sheer presence of the Iguazu Falls will blow your mind. It’s no wonder these mammoth falls are on the Unesco World Heritage List. Walk the foot trails of the national reserve and watch as rushes of water cascade over cliffs and mist rises through the rainforests. Both the Argentinean and Brazilian sides of the falls offer brilliant views.

Days 18-19 Rio de Janeiro

There is plenty to see and do in flamboyant, rambunctious Rio de Janeiro, the heart of Brazil. Visit Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado and admire amazing panoramas of the city, or head to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car. For some seriously eye-popping people watching, head down to the white sand beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. And what trip to Rio would be complete without a samba boogie? Yes, the only way to truly experience this city is to try to keep up with it!
