Days 1-2 Buenos Aires

Cosmopolitan, cultured and chic, Buenos Aires has European sensibilities with a fiery Latin heart. Discover colonial architecture, funky neighbourhoods, exceptional cuisine and a thriving nightlife.

Day 3 Concordia

Sitting on the Uruguay River opposite the Uruguayan city of Salto, Concordia is Argentina's centre of citrus growing and a peaceful place to relax waterside.

Day 4 San Ignacio Mini

Founded in 1632 and now well-preserved ruins, San Ignacio Mini is an old Jesuit mission that was destroyed in 1817 and rediscovered amongst the jungle the late 1800s.

Days 5-7 Iguazu Falls

An Argentinean town close to the breathtaking Iguazu Falls, Puerto Iguazu is a relaxed, friendly place to rest after a day enjoying the splendour of the falls.

Days 8 -10 Bonito

Beautiful by name, beautiful by nature, Bonito is a small town set amongst a gorgeous landscape of emerald jungle and glassy, blue rivers simply teeming with life.

Days 11-13 Pantanal

The Pantanal is the largest wetlands in the world and is home to thousands of species of animals and plants, and its 210,00 sq km spreads through Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia.

Day 14 Brotas

A tiny place that has a big name for eco-tourism, Brotas offers hiking, kayaking, rafting and other sports in a pristine jungle environment.

Days 15-17 Paraty

Step back in time in gorgeous Paraty, where Portuguese colonial buildings, cobblestone streets and horse and cart are set against a verdant backdrop of misty hills.

Day 18 Rio de Janeiro

Bigger than life and beautiful to boot, Rio de Janeiro sits resplendent among mountains, rainforest and sea, and emits an energy that is irresistible to everyone who visits.

Days 19-24 Rio de Janeiro

Day 25 Rio de Janeiro

Perhaps spend time visiting Rio's iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, lazing on Copacabana Beach or taking a cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain.

Days 26-27 Ouro Preto

Wander through the baroque churches and museums of this unique and beautiful colonial mining town.

Day 28 Bush Camp

Enjoy a road trip through charming Brazilian towns and countryside before spending the night near the outskirts of Tres Marias.

Day 29 Cavalcante

Spend the night with the Kalunga people, a rarely visited tribe that are said to be the descendants of slaves that once resided in Cavalcante.

Days 30-32 Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park

Hike around this stunning national park that plays host to cascading waterfalls, a range of wildlife, dense jungle and warm springs.

Day 33 Brasilia

Learn the history of this unique Brazilian capital and wander the streets, taking in the unique architecture and quirky sculptures.

Days 34-35 Central Brazil Bush Camp

Journey through central Brazil and have plenty of time to soak up the sights and stunning landscapes of this fascinating part of the continent.

Day 36 Pocone

Arrive in the small town of Pocone, the gateway to the breathtaking Pantanal.

Days 37-39 Pantanal

Check out just some of the vast wetlands of the Pantanal, and its spellbinding animals, by horseback, boats, canoes or on foot.

Days 40-43 West Brazil Bush Camp

Discover parts of central Brazil where few tourists dare to venture. Travel towards the Peruvian border and absorb as much of the surrounding South American atmosphere as possible.

Day 44 Puerto Maldonado

Arrive in Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon and get ready for an epic trip into the Amazon Jungle.

Days 45-46 Amazon Lodge

Wind up the river to a private jungle reserve owned by the indigenous Ese-Eja community of Infierno, and spend time with locals learning about how the Amazon ticks and spotting a myriad of colourful bird and wildlife.

Days 47-48 Cuzco

Wind down in the Incan city of Cusco, where there’s time to explore this fascinating city and relax and reflect on this epic South American adventure.
