Explore classic Rajasthan on an adventure tour through romantic India
Travel to India and visit the enchanting northern province of Rajasthan. One of the most beautiful places to visit in India, Rajasthan is awash with colour and the nostalgia of a romanticised era. On our classic adventure we discover the grisly history of massive forts and the opulence and splendour of Maharajas' palaces. Stroll bustling markets, enjoy a sunset camel safari and soak up the culture of the local people. This is truly the essence of Rajasthan.

Classic Rajasthan, April 2014
I went on this trip because I don't want to travel alone. The group consisted of five couples and I wasn't even warned about this when I booked. I was the 11th person to book so all the couples were already booked and the advisor could have suggested another date as had been done for one of the couples I was tour with. They had considered a different date and their advisor had told them that the date of this trip might be more suitable as there were other mature couples. I was disappointed about this. India is a very confronting and challenging country. It was very difficult for me being the only healthy young single person to experience this alone. Anant was amazing. I think I might have come back early if it wasn't for him which would have been a shame as I enjoyed Udaipur.

Classic Rajasthan, May 2014
India is a country of sharp contrasts. I like that Intrepid captures both through visiting both main sites but also allowing an insight into real life through visits to smaller villages etc Bhagirath was a great tour leader who was very patient and caring. As an added bonus, in having two different tour leaders with very different backgrounds provided a great and interesting way to learn about the different cultures of India.
