Days 1-2 Kathmandu

Kathmandu is like an alluring whirlwind of sights, sounds, smells and colours. Almost overwhelming, its charm and history peaks out from the most unexpected places rendering most visitors enamoured.

Day 3 Phakding

A popular stopping point for trekkers heading towards Mt Everest, Phakding is peaceful haven on the banks of the milky-white Dudh Kosi River.

Days 4-5 Namche Bazaar

Namche Bazaar is a delightful mountain village and the Sherpa ‘capital’. It's also an important trading centre for the local people and a spectacular location to rest and explore.

Day 6 Thyangboche Monastery

The wonderful Thyangboche Monastery is the traditional site where mountaineering expeditions receive their blessing but its also an amazing place to experience some of the best panoramas in the Himalaya.

Days 7-8 Monjo/Lukla

A tiny village of warm and friendly Sherpas, Monjo is a picturesque place to rest near the entrance to Sagarmartha National Park. Home to one of the highest airports in the world (2860m), Lukla is the gateway to Everest - most visitors begin and end their adventure in this mountain town.

Days 9-11 Kathmandu

With the two sister cities of Bhaktapur and Lalitpur (Patan) close by, Kathmandu has a wealth of sights to explore, markets to discover and places to relax in.
