Travel to Nepal and experience spectacular Everest.
Travel to Nepal and head to the Himalayan hills to get the full picture of Everest. Fly to Lukla then enjoy a four-day trek, staying in teahouses in the village of Phakding, the market town of Namche Bazaar and the small settlement of Monjo. Along the way, cross fast flowing rivers, climb to the highest hotel in the world and take in close up views of the mountain and the surrounding Himalayas.

Add to ShortlistDay 1 Kathmandu/Lukla/Phakding
Travel to Nepal and fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, gateway to the Everest region. Start trekking along the Dudh Kosi River and spend the night in the village of Phakding.
Day 2 Namche Bazaar
Criss-cross over the river en route to Jorsale, the trek's halfway point. Later in the day, finish with a challenging uphill climb to Namche Bazaar. Enjoy the first glimpse of Everest.
Day 3 Monjo
Climb to the highest hotel in the world for unobstructed views of Everest. Then it's back downhill to the settlement of Monjo.
Day 4 Lukla
Enjoy a leisurely walk back to Lukla.
Day 5 Kathmandu
Now that you've seen Everest's full picture, take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu.
