Day 1 Windhoek

Use Sesriem as a base for exploring the incredible Namib Desert region.

Days 3-4 Swakopmund

Rise early and climb some of the largest sand dunes in the world to watch a stunning golden sunrise. Afterwards, continue to the town of Swakopmund where fun optional activities are aplenty. Try horse riding or perhaps head out on a cruise to spot friendly dolphins at play.

Days 5-6 Spitzkoppe

Rising dramatically above the arid desert floor, the isolated granite outcrop at Spitzkoppe is an incredible sight.

Day 7 Palmwag Desert Oasis

Days 8-9 Etosha National Park

Embark on a game drive through the salt pans of the Etosha National Park. Spot the silhouettes of black rhinos, springbok, zebras and giraffes against the horizon.

Spend a day tracking and gathering with the San Bushmen. Learn about their culture and way of life during an overnight stay in Grootfontein.

Day 12 Rundu

Browse Rundu’s open markets for handicrafts and admire intricate wood carvings.

Days 13-14 Okavango Delta

Accompanied by local guides, jump aboard a mokoro - a dugout canoe - to explore the delta's reed beds and streams filled with animals of all sizes - birdlife, hyenas, antelope and hippos. Stay on a remote island and drift off to sleep to the sounds of the animals making their way through the waterways in the dark.

Day 15 Bagani

Camp on an island paradise of flooded plains and swamps, teeming with wildlife and nestled between two national parks.

Day 16 Chobe National Park

Witness wildlife galore and try to spot African elephants in an open-jeep safari or relax and unwind on an afternoon cruise along the Chobe River. Keep an eye out for elephants and crocodiles on the water’s edge, and catch a glimpse of fish eagles swooping for prey.

Days 17-19 Victoria Falls

Experience the sheer wonder of Victoria Falls. There are plenty of optional activities on offer at the falls so jump in a canoe, go whitewater rafting or even take a flight to see them from the air. What better way to end this Namibia and Botswana family adventure?
