Namibia & Botswana Family Adventure Northbound SummaryAdd to Shortlist
Travel to Namibia and explore Windhoek, the colonial-style capital.
Travel to the vast dunes of the Namib Desert and camp overnight in Sesriem.
Rise early and climb some of the largest sand dunes in the world to watch a stunning golden sunrise. Afterwards, continue to the town of Swakopmund where fun optional activities are aplenty. Try horse riding or perhaps head out on a cruise to spot friendly dolphins at play.
Stop to view a massive colony of seals on the journey to Spitzkoppe. Rising dramatically above the arid desert floor, this isolated granite outcrop is an incredible sight.
Search for the elusive Desert Elephant before setting up camp in the Palmwag Desert Oasis.
Embark on thrilling game drives through the salt pan of Etosha National Park, looking for black rhinos, springbok, zebras, giraffes and more.
Spend a day tracking and gathering with the San Bushmen. Learn about their unique culture and way of life during an overnight stay in Grootfontein.
Accompanied by local guides, jump aboard a mokoro - a dugout canoe - to explore the Okavango Delta's reed beds and streams filled with birdlife, hyenas, antelope and hippos. Stay on a remote island and drift off to sleep amid the sounds of the bush.
Cross the border into Botswana. Cruise the Chobe River to catch a glimpse of fish eagles swooping for prey. Alternatively, embark on a fun jeep safari through the Chobe National Park in search of majestic elephants.
Experience the sheer wonder of Victoria Falls. There are plenty of optional activities on offer at the falls so jump in a canoe, go whitewater rafting or even take a flight to see them from the air. What better way to end this Namibia and Botswana family adventure?
