Day 1 Cape Town
Welcome to beguiling Cape Town, a city fillled with gorgeous scenery and world-class cafés, galleries, restaurants, shops and beaches.

Enjoy the clean salty air, white-sand beaches and fresh lobsters of Lamberts Bay, one of westcoast South Africa’s most popular seaside destinations.

Day 3 Orange River
Cross the border into Namibia and spend time exploring the banks and rugged scenery of Orange River.

Day 4 Fish River Canyon
Take to the river on a canoe adventure over waters that runs though the Richtersveld Mountains. Then, make tracks to Fish River Canyon, one of the largest - and most breathtaking - canyons in the world, especially at sunset.

Days 5-6 Sossusvlei
Journey into the red sands and dramatic landscapes of the Namib Desert. Meaning ‘dead end marsh’, Sossuvlei is the ultimate place to experience the stillness and solitude of desert life.

Encounter ancient lakebeds and the atmospheric Dead Vlei, where skeletal Camelthorn Trees stand out darkly against the desert’s red hues. Then head to the Germanic achitecture and influences of Swakopmund, where scores of adventure activities, long stretches of beach and modern restaurants contrast nicely with the expansiveness of the surrounding desert.

Day 9 Windhoek
End the adventure in Namibia's colonial-style capital, Windhoek, stopping to buy colourful tribal souvenirs from local markets along the way.
