Itinerary

Discover the delights of Cape Town, a modern and atmospheric city boasting impressive nature, adventure activities, world-class restaurants and nearby vineyards.
After an overnight farm stay, cross into Namibia and camp on the banks of the beautiful Orange River.
Enjoy a spectacular sunset across Fish River Canyon.
Summit one of the highest sand dunes in the world in the Namib-Naukluft National Park.
An oasis situated between the beach and the desert, this is a haven for lovers of adventure activities.
Be amazed by the sight of thousands of basking seals on the shores of Cape Cross.
Venture into one of the largest national parks in Africa and be rewarded with the vast array of wildlife and birdlife on display – over 340 species of bird live here.
Spend some time with the San Bushmen – witness their unique way of life, accompany them on a hunting and gathering mission and perhaps learn a few words of their local ‘clicking’ language.
Travel to Bagani and camp overnight in this laidback part of Namibia.
This expansive delta is best explored by mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe. Enjoy travelling through the maze of reed beds and waterways, witnessing animals at every paddle stroke.
Enjoy another day in relaxed Bagani, perhaps enjoying some of the optional activities, including boat tours, fishing and hiking.
Today’s a long driving day, with the incredible Chobe National Park our destination. Enjoy early morning game drives and try to spy swimming elephants, wallowing hippos or sun-loving crocs on an optional cruise along the Chobe River.
Cross the border into Zimbabwe and admire the might of thundering Victoria Falls from the banks of the Zambezi.
Enjoy some city time in Bulawayo before venturing into the Matobo National Park to spot rhinos. Perhaps go on a walking safari to track these rare wonders on foot.
Discover ancient ruins in Masvingo, which are thought to have once been a palace for Zimbabwean royalty.
Explore Zimbabwe’s largest city, perhaps visiting the National Gallery, markets or botanical gardens.
Embark on a long, scenic drive and cross into Zambia. Soak in the stunning landscapes and camp just outside Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia.
Watch for large herds of elephants, buffalo and giraffes on the sweeping plains of South Luangwa. With one of the richest and most concentrated animal populations on the African continent, it’s little wonder this is rated as one of the best wildlife sanctuaries around.
Malawians are some of the friendliest people in Africa, as you’ll learn when you kick back on the peaceful shores of Lake Malawi.
Pitch camp in the grounds of a local farmhouse and spend the night on the outskirts of this homey settlement.
Travel to Dar es Salaam via Mikumi National Park, where Africa’s most famous animals reside. Camp by the beach in Dar.
Enjoy time in Zanzibar, Tanzania's tropical playground. Explore historic Stone Town, tour fragrant spice plantations and lounge under coconut palms.
Return to Dar es Salaam by ferry. Hang out on Kipepo Beach, an idyllic stretch of sand where animals are headed along the beach and there are beach bars to wile away the day.
Spend a night amid acres of beautiful tropical gardens in Marangu, situated on the lush green slopes of Kilimanjaro.
Go on a walking tour of Mshiri, a lovely village close to Mt Kilimanjaro, and become acquainted with the lifestyle of the Chagga people. Afterwards, head to Mto Wa Mbu for a night of camping.
Descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater to see an abundance of wildlife including lions, leopards, zebras and rhinos. Then head to the wilds of the Serengeti to embark on thrilling safari drives.
