Amazing Southern Africa, January 2014
The tour was very good. From my personal perspective only two things kept it from being wonderful. The first was the decision by Intrepid/Peregrine management to start the tour with a Tour Leader whose license for guiding in Namibia had not been approved yet for 2014. This led to multiple changes in guides and, I believe, some loss of information and knowledge being imparted as we traveled. There were days that we traveled for hours with virtually no comments from the guides. The second was the houseboat on the Okavango River delta. It was too small and needed a more powerful generator. Once the sun set the lighting on the boat was totally inadequate.
