Day 1 Cape Town

Welcome to beguiling Cape Town, a city fillled with gorgeous scenery and world-class cafés, galleries, restaurants, shops and beaches.

Day 2 Lamberts Bay/Clanwilliam

Enjoy the clean salty air, white-sand beaches and fresh lobsters of Lamberts Bay, one of westcoast South Africa’s most popular seaside destinations.

Day 3 Orange River

Cross the border into Namibia and spend time exploring the banks and rugged scenery of Orange River.

Day 4 Fish River Canyon

Take to the river on a canoe adventure over waters that runs though the Richtersveld Mountains. Then, make tracks to Fish River Canyon, one of the largest - and most breathtaking - canyons in the world, especially at sunset.

Days 5-6 Sossusvlei

Journey into the red sands and dramatic landscapes of the Namib Desert. Meaning ‘dead end marsh’, Sossuvlei is the ultimate place to experience the stillness and solitude of desert life.

Days 7-8 Swakopmund

Encounter ancient lakebeds and the atmospheric Dead Vlei, where skeletal Camelthorn Trees stand out darkly against the desert’s red hues. Then head to the Germanic achitecture and influences of Swakopmund, where scores of adventure activities, long stretches of beach and modern restaurants contrast nicely with the expansiveness of the surrounding desert.

Day 9 Windhoek

Travel to Namibia and visit Windhoek. Use free time to enjoy this attractive German-style capital set against a backdrop of majestic mountains.

Days 10-11 Damaraland

Encounter Damaraland’s incredible scenery, which is made up of mountains, ancient rock paintings, welwitschia plants and petrified forests.

Days 12-13 Etosha National Park

The numerous waterholes and sparse vegetation of Etosha National Park makes spotting Africa’s unique wildlife easy.

Day 14 Rundu

Travel up towards Angola and spend time in Rundu, a fascinating place with excellent markets

Days 15-16 Okavango Delta

Get ready to be wowed in the incredible environs of the Okavango Delta. By day, travel in a traditional mokoro (dugout canoe) for the perfect way to encounter animals of all sizes – elephants, hippos, antelope and birds of every persuasion make their home here. And at night, fall to sleep on a houseboat, listening for the sounds of animals making their way through this incredible tangle of waterways in the dark.

Days 17-18 Caprivi Strip

Head back into Namibia and onwards to the Caprivi Strip. Spot roaming animals in the Mahango Game Reserve and enjoy time spent with local villagers, learning about their lives and customs.

Days 19-20 Chobe National Park

Witness animals galore in the captivating surrounds of Chobe National Park. Watch the sun set on a relaxing afternoon cruise, while looking for elephants and crocs along the water’s edge.

Days 21-22 Victoria Falls

Travel into Zimbabwe to marvel at the watery spectacle that is the mighty Victoria Falls. Having seen the best of Botswana, with a touch of Namibia and Zimbabwe thrown in, perhaps reflect on this incredible experience over a final African feast.
