Atlas Panorama Itinerary

Travel to Marrakech, Morocco’s 'Pink City' that is silhouetted by the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas mountains. Wander through a maze of bustling bazaars, palaces and mosques on a guided tour through the electric city streets and perhaps haggle at the souqs or relax in the hamam steam baths. In the evening head to the central square, Djemaa el Fna, to be entertained by snake charmers and local musicians, and tempted by food stalls selling traditional Moroccan fare.

Climb to Tizi'n'Tichka, the highest road pass in Morocco, and descend to see the abandoned fortress of the Glaoui clan of Telouet, whose influence used to stretch across Morocco and into the politics of Europe. Perhaps trek up to a rocky viewpoint that offers all encompassing vistas of the hills surrounding Tijhza gite.

Take a walk along one of several scenic trails, taking in the variety of landscapes that comprise Morocco’s impressive High Atlas Mountains. Stroll the terraced fields to reach the Col for fantastic views of the Ourikt Gorge, head around Mt n'Oughlagal for fantastic vistas of the valley, visit to a local village or head out to the pristine Lake Tamda, an azure body of water located amidst towering peaks and stark white-rock scenery.

Return to Marrakech and spend free time shopping for tasty morsels and handmade trinkets, relaxing by the pool or taking in the quiet serenity of the Menara Gardens.
