Atlas Panorama Itinerary

Travel to Marrakech, the 'Pink City' that is silhouetted by the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas mountains. Wander through a maze of bustling bazaars, palaces and mosques on a guided tour. Perhaps haggle at the souqs or relax in the hamam steam baths. In the evening, head to the central square, Djemma el Fna, to be entertained by snake charmers, local musicians and food stalls selling traditional Moroccan fare.

Climb to Tizi'n'Tichka, the highest road pass in Morocco, and descend to see the abandoned fortress of the Glaoui clan of Telouet, whose influence used to stretch across Morocco and into the politics of Europe. Perhaps trek up to a rocky viewpoint that offers all encompassing vistas of the hills surrounding Tihza gite.

Take a walk along one of several scenic trails. Either stroll the terraced fields to reach the Col with fantastic views of the Ourikt Gorge, head around Mt. n'Oughlagal for fantastic vistas of the valley, or pay a visit to Lake Tamda, an azure lake amidst stark white-rock scenery.

Return to Marrakech and spend free time shopping for tasty morsels and handmade trinkets, or relax in the calm oasis of the Menara Gardens.
