Mexico, Vietnam and Spain, all for the same reasons - excellent food, glorious weather and super-friendly people.

How many countries have you visited?

5 continents, 30 countries

Most recent adventure

I just spent 2 years living and working in Canada. On the way there I spent 3 months in Peru and Bolivia, a month in Mexico and a month in the USA. I spent another month in the US on my way home as well.

Best travel memory

Thailand! We spend 3 week on Koh Phangan with a group of random Canadians - so much fun!

Eat where the locals eat and try everything.

Favourite food experience

So many! I travel for the food. So many cultures revolve around their kitchens and eating requires no translation.

Any advice for people considering embarking on the trip of a lifetime

Don’t forget your toothbrush! Be open-minded and don’t judge people on your values - every culture is different with different values.
