Day 1 Kuala Lumpur

Arrive in the city often referred to as ‘KL’, the centre of modern-day Malaysia. Explore the city by day and, if energy levels permit, get a feel for the city’s pulse at the night market in Chinatown.

Days 2-3 Kampung Kuantan/Batu Caves Hill

Let the adventure begin with a visit to the small village of Kampung Kuantan. Explore the nearby fort and bird sanctuary of Kota Melawati and get ready for the famous night-time natural performance. From a rowing boat, watch in awe as the evening’s darkness is interrupted by the twinkling fireflies that lives in the mangroves. Days 5-6 Taman Negara National Park

Days 7-8 Cameron Highlands

Regarded by many as the food capital of Malaysia, tuck into the interesting flavours of the local food, pungent aromas of the Tropical Spice Garden and sniff out the old world charm of Georgetown.
