Day 1 Singapore
Discover sultry Singapore, a city that merges towering megamalls and skyscrapers with emerald green parks and vibrant colonial history. Arrive early to take in the fragrant spices of little India, get a whiff of incense in Chinatown or escape the heat by ducking into an air-condtioned oasis for a shopping extravaganza on Orchard Rd.

Days 2-3 Melaka
Travel to Melaka, a former colonial outpost, which retains a distinctive old-world air. Absorb its character on a trishaw ride through its winding streets and sample flavours of the exciting fusion of Chinese and Malay cuisine in a nonya cooking class.

Days 4-5 Kuala Lumpur
Explore the cosmopolitan capital of Malaysia, a mix of Chinese, Indian and Malay cultures. Perhaps soak up the view from atop the Menara Kuala Lumpur before being treated to a cultural performance and buffet dinner. Be entertained with traditional dances from around the Malaysian Peninsular and Borneo.

Day 6 Island Hideaway

From its elaborate Indian temples to its Chinese shop houses and statuesque Islamic mosques, Penang is packed with cross-cultural historic attractions. Take time to tour the magnificent Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion or poke around the antique shops of Chulia Street.

Days 8-9 Pulau Langkawi
With miles of white, sandy beaches, lush tropical rainforest and plenty of sleepy traditional Malay villages, Pulau Langkawi is the perfect place to get away from it all. Swim with shoals of colourful fish in the Pulau Payar Marine Park, indulge in a barbecue seafood dinner and take a cable car ride to enjoy spectacular views over this tropical haven. Be sure to spend some time channelling holiday vibes while kicking back on a soft, sandy beach.

Day 10 Kota Kinabalu
Nestled between the Borneo jungle and the South China Sea, Kota Kinabalu is a great location to start this adventure. If arriving early, why not get into holiday mode with a beach excursion.

Day 11 Mt Kinabalu
The Kinabalu National Park is among the most important biological sites in the world, with around 1,000 species of orchid, 600 species of fern and 320 species of bird. Soak up the sublime views of looming Mt Kinabalu on a walk through this stunning region.

Day 12 Poring Hot Springs
Amble across the jungle rooftop on a canopy walk before slipping into the steaming Poring Hot Springs to soothe tired muscles.

Day 13 Sandakan
Sandakan was once the capital of British North Borneo and traditionally has strong trading ties with Hong Kong. The Cantonese influence is evident in the lively harbourside market, the many Chinese temples and the local cuisine. On the way we stop by Sandakan's tragic war memorial to pay respects to those who died during the infamous 'Death Marches' of WWII.

Day 14 Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary
Continue on to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and fall in love with these beautiful, big-eyed creatures as they swing gleefully between branches or feed on a special diet of bananas and milk. Then, visit the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary and watch these bizarre-looking animals lazing about.

Day 15 Sukau
Hit the road to Sukau, stopping to visit the Gomantong Caves en route. Continue on to a jungle lodge near Kinabatangan River. Spend free time here relaxing and enjoying the surroundings before spotting local wildlife on a river cruise.

Days 16-17 Manukan Island
Swap jungle paths for the warm waters of the South China Sea and head for Manukan Island - a tropical paradise that is just a stone through away from Kota Kinabalu. Embark on a snorkelling trip and dive through schools of brightly coloured fish before kicking back on the beach or exploring the island.

Days 18-19 Kota Kinabalu
Board a plane back to Kota Kinabalu and spend time relaxing at our beachside location. Toast the end of a great journey with new friends during a farewell dinner.
