Days 1 Beirut

Once a playground for the rich and famous, dynamic Beirut has a wealth of stylish art galleries, bars, cafes, restaurants and museums to explore.

Day 2 Zahle

Renowned for its pleasant climate, the trendy resort town of Zahle is home to many ornate Ottoman-era houses and numerous riverside cafes serving local arak - a highly alcoholic spirit.

Day 3 Baalbek

A vast complex of towering columns and crumbling marble set against beautiful mountain scenery, the magnificent temples of Baalbek are some of the region's largest and most impressive Roman ruins.

Days 4-5 Bcharre

The town of Bcharre is the birthplace of Khalil Gibran, one of Lebanon's most famous literary figures, and a great base to explore the beautiful Qadisha Valley.

Day 6 Byblos

Boasting a rich history and a wonderful Mediterranean setting, Byblos is the perfect location to sit back and watch boats bobbing in the ancient port, framed by Crusader fortifications.

Days 7-8 Beirut
