Hiking the Dogon Desert in Mali, washing an elephant in Nepal, making snow angels in Canada, mud hiking in the Netherlands, celebrating Diwali in India and hearing "she'll be coming round the mountain" at a Croatian wedding have made my travel memories my most treasured possession! The world is such an amazing place and if I'm not on an adventure then I want to help you plan yours.

When I first started working with Intrepid My Adventure Store, I developed a fascination with Borneo - it offered everything a traveller could want! Highest peak in Sout- East Asia, one of only two places in the world where orangutans roam in the wild, proboscis monkeys, world's largest flower, snorkelling, Turtle Island, fireflies, jungle tree houses, tribal villages... and I finally got to explore it in May!

Best travel memory

My first and best travel experience was four weeks in North West Africa when I was 15. Desert hiking, sleeping in airports, hand washing clothes, market bargaining, using charades to have conversations with locals – I was mesmerised! Arriving back home. My life changed, my understanding of the world grew and I was engulfed with the idea of spending all my time travelling.
