Day 1 Nairobi

Once a swamp but now called the 'green city in the sun', Nairobi is a relatively multicultural city with a range of cuisines, museums and cultural centres to enjoy.

Day 2 Aberdare National Park

Not only are there a wide array of animals living in Aberdare National Park, but there's quirky treetop accommodation, especially the lodge in the shape of Noah's Ark.

Day 3 Lake Nakuru

Often shrouded in a carpet of pink flamingos, beautiful Lake Nakuru - and the surrounding national park - is home to a great number of wildlife and bird species.

Days 4-5 Lake Naivasha

Meaning 'rough water' in Maasai due to the occurrence of sudden storms, Lake Naivasha surface is also broken by the yawns of hippos and countless birds flying across its surface.

Days 6-7 Masai Mara National Reserve

The Masai Mara is the quintessential African experience with sparse open plains, dramatic skies and the world's most iconic animals living within its boundaries.

Day 8 Nairobi

Lively Nairobi is the gateway to some of Africa's best national parks and is nicknamed 'the safari capital of the world'.

Day 9 Arusha/Tengeru

Situated close to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Mount Kilimanjaro, Arusha is a relaxed, friendly city with a wealth of famous sites on its doorstep. Experience how the locals live during a homestay with a lovely Tanzanian family in Tengeru, a village a few kilometres from Arusha.

Day 10 Lake Manyara National Park

Dense forests, open plains and beautiful lake shores reveal Africa's animals in their element at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions.

Days 11-12 Serengeti National Park

Teeming with animals and home to the famous migration of the wildebeest, the Serengeti is a marvel with rolling plains, iconic acacia trees and mesmerising skies.

Days 13-14 Crater Rim/Ngorongoro Crater

Photographic opportunities abound in the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive volcanic caldera with so many animals, it's hard to know where to look first.

Day 15 Arusha

With Mt Meru looming in the background, Arusha has a host of good eateries, green spaces and a lively music scene to enjoy in between safaris.
