A 30 something year old and still globe trotting. I have worked in travel for 16 years and have been lucky enough to visit many different places and experience many cultures. I find the best advice comes from my customers whose stories I love to listen to.
 

Favourite travel destination and why

Galapagos Islands – Ecuador itself is so beautiful and diverse, from trekking through the Amazon Jungle to the beauty of the Galapagos Islands. The Galapagos is so different to what you would expect and will always hold a special place.

Favourite food experience

Everything. I always like to try the local delicacies, so I’ve eaten guinea pig, sheep brain, crocodile, warthog, buffalo, zebra, kangaroo, larvae – the list is endless.
 

Any advice for people considering embarking on the trip of a lifetime

Learn a little of the local language, be prepared, make sure you are getting good value for money on your trips and research your destinations.
 

Which country is next on your list to experience and why

I would like to see more of South and Central America, I really want to go on Intrepids ‘Way to San Jose’ as it covers Costa Rica, Honduras and Guatemala, so that is definitely next on my list!
