I’m the quirky girl that likes to sit with the locals and chat about their day, find out their favourite places to go, best things to eat. I like to immerse myself in the culture and learn the traditions, the language, devour the local cuisine and treat myself to local liquor. 

Favourite travel destination and why:

Japan, the food ignites my soul! The general harmony that you can feel, as you walk amongst possibly the most eclectic range of people, in one small space at one time. Visually distracting and vibrant.

The beautiful people in Siem Reap and Sihanoukville in Cambodia. Cycling and motorcycling around, getting lost and found again. Chatting to the locals, eating at their favourite restaurants, and all the rich culture. 

Best travel tips

Always carry toilet paper. Learn the basics in every language you come across. Interact with the locals, don’t feel compelled to follow the tourists.

Favourite food experience

Flying Chicken in Hong Dae, South Korea, or any of the 24 hour bbq restaurants in Korea. Breakfast bbq is the best way to cure a hangover!
