Day 1 Pisa

Begin the Tuscan adventure in the home of the Leaning Tower, an architectural oddity that seems to defy gravity. If in Pisa early, why not spend time exploring the impressive Piazza del Duomo - which contains the Bapistry, the Camposanto Monumentale and the Torre di Pisa - or one of the remarkable museums.

Days 2-3 Tuscan Farmstay

Pay a visit to the tower to learn why it tilts and perhaps clamber up its stairs for a different perspective. After marvelling at the tower, explore a wealth of other sites in Pisa city including the grassy environs of Campo dei Miracoli, the Baptistry and the Duomo. Travel into the rural heart of Tuscany to stay on a traditional working farm where there are a stack of ways to spend time, from walking and swimming in the pool to helping locals with seasonal activities such as pruning olive trees and harvesting grapes.

Days 4-5 Siena

Make tracks to Siena, one of Tuscany's most captivating cities and a place brimming with striking Gothic architecture. Gaze up at the detailed frescoes in the Duomo, enjoy an aperitivo in the Piazza del Campo or take in sweeping views of the surrounding countryside while roaming narrow streets. Spend a day in delightful San Gimignano.

Days 6-8 Florence

Try a few glasses of the local tipple during a winery visit in Montefioralle. Arrive in Florence, the cultural heart of Tuscany, a city rampant with religious treasures and Renaissance masterpieces – no surprise given a third of Europe's most important artists were believed to have lived here during the second millennium. While here, be sure to check out the legendary Uffizi Gallery, home to timeless works by Botticelli, Caravaggio and Raphael. Follow the crowds up to Piazzale Michelangelo to catch the sun's last rays as it sets over the city - the perfect way to end an enchanting tour of Tuscany.
