Days 1-2 Venice

Built over a hundred small islands connected by 400 bridges, Venice is an artistic masterpiece with charming canals, incredible architecture, an enticing cuisine and a fascinating cultural tradition.

Days 3-4 Gubbio

Perched high on the slopes of Monte Ingino, the medieval town of Gubbio has imposing Gothic monuments, great views and delicious Umbrian cuisine.

Days 5-6 Assisi/Spello

The home of St Francis, one of the world's most famous saints and founder of the Franciscan order, Assisi is a place which inspires reverence. One of the prettiest medieval towns in Italy, Spello is home to many ancient Roman monuments and charming enotecas serving local wine and regional food specialties.

Days 7-8 Rome

With timeworn ruins, extraordinary buildings and religious monuments around every corner, Rome is a true gem that seamlessly incorporates modern city life with ancient wonders.

Days 9-10 Naples/Pompeii

With its heritage-listed historical centre and fascinating Archeological Museum, Naples's extraordinary history is obvious - plus it's home to some of the best pizza Italy has to offer. Destroyed by the eruption of Mt Vesuvius 2,000 years ago, the ruins of ancient Pompeii are a time capsule quite unlike any other ruined city in the world.

Days 11-12 Sorrento

The seaside resort of Sorrento has been a popular tourist destination for centuries and it's easy to see why with its fine piazzas, sidewalk cafes and glamorous shops.

Days 13-15 Amalfi

A land of rocky coasts, cliff-top vistas, azure seas and bright blue skies, the Amalfi Coast has picturesque towns and dramatic trails to explore.
