Days 1-2 Venice

Built over a hundred small islands connected by 400 bridges, Venice is an artistic masterpiece with charming canals, incredible architecture, an enticing cuisine and a fascinating cultural tradition.

Day 3 Modena

Travel by train to a city that was home to the late Luciano Pavarotti. Stock up on the region's famous balsamic vinegar at an acetaia, a house where the dressing is made in the attic. While here, be sure to feast on some of Modena's culinary specialities including prosciutto, tortellini and zampone (stuffed pig's trotter). Or, for car-lovers, a visit to the Ferrari Museum and gallery is sure to provide a few high-speed thrills.

Days 4-5 Cinque Terre

The breathtaking Cinque Terre showcases five charming villages, linked by ancient pathways and dramatic cliffs that drop into the rich blue waters of the Ligurian Sea.

Days 6-7 Pisa/Florence

Pisa is the iconic home of a famous tower that leans and the Piazza del Duomo, a stunning walled area famed for its religious buildings and medieval art. Awash with artistic treasures, Florence is Italy's most revered city for its Renaissance and religious masterpieces, enchanting historic centre and unsurpassed beauty.

Days 8-9 Perugia/Spello

Sitting atop a rocky hill in the heart of Umbria, the beautifully preserved town of Perugia has been a thriving cultural centre since the Middle Ages. One of the prettiest medieval towns in Italy, Spello is home to many ancient Roman monuments and charming enotecas serving local wine and regional food specialties.

Days 10-12 Naples/Sorrento

With its heritage-listed historical centre and fascinating Archeological Museum, Naples's extraordinary history is obvious - plus it's home to some of the best pizza Italy has to offer. The seaside resort of Sorrento has been a popular tourist destination for centuries and it's easy to see why with its fine piazzas, sidewalk cafes and glamorous shops.

Days 13-15 Rome

With timeworn ruins, extraordinary buildings and religious monuments around every corner, Rome is a true gem that seamlessly incorporates modern city life with ancient wonders.
