Family Italy - Treasures of Tuscany Summary

Arrive at the Il Cassero Apartments in the heart of Tuscany. We will stay in a small apartment which has private bathroom with shower, fully equiped kitchen and a fridge. The rooms are all furnished in traditional local style with beams and wooden floors.
Day 2 Lucignano
A small medieval village nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Lucignano's unique pear-shaped design is considered a rare example of medieval architecture.
Day 3 Siena
Among Italy's most captivating cities, Siena is a stunning experience with its majestic Gothic churches, friendly locals and one of Europe's great medieval squares.
Day 4 Montepulciano
Today a day trip in a private vehicle takes us to Montepluciano, famous for its wines this small city also has a lot of interesting art and architecture. Here we can discover medieval underground cellars, Montepulciano is one of the only places in the world where there are ancient underground cellars dating back to Etruscan times right in the heart of the town.
Day 5 Florence
Awash with artistic treasures, Florence is Italy's most revered city for its Renaissance and religious masterpieces, enchanting historic centre and unsurpassed beauty.
Day 6 Assisi and Cortona
Head to the birthplace of the patron saint of animals, St Francis of Assisi, and meander its charming squares that date back to the middle ages. Move on to spend the afternoon walking round the equally captivating walled town of Cortona with lovely views across the local countryside.
Day 7 Lucignano
Today is our final full day and it is left free for us to choose your own activities. We may wish to relax by the pool, we can also opt to take a half day kayaking trip. This evening enjoy our final dinner as a group
Day 8 Tour ends
Our trip ends today with a transfer to the airport to join your flights home.
