Day 1 San Salvatore Sinis

Welcome to the breathtaking island of Sardinia. It’s one of the most geologically ancient bodies of land in Europe – with evidence people lived on the island in palaeolithic times – and is very easy on the eye. The town of San Salvatore Sinis has been the site of many spaghetti westerns and is a great spot to start this cycling adventure.

Day 2 San Giovanni Sinis

Be tickled pink at the site of flamingos standing nonchalantly by in the lagoons of the Sinis wetlands. Then cycle to the coast and enjoy time at a glittery quartz beach before riding further along the peninsula to San Giovanni di Sinis and the ancient city of Tharros. Founded by the ancient Phoenicians, this ruined city has had many a ruler over the centuries and is now a fascinating place to spend some time.
