Then it’s time for the day to really shine at a local winery, where the area’s famous sparkling wine, Prosecco, is just begging to be tasted in the shadow of its wine groves. Stop in Treviso and taste some award-winning gelato – we might even be treated to a demonstration from the Italian champion himself! Top off the day with an optional feast of Venetian specialties in a regional restaurant before catching the train back to Venice.
