Days 1-2 Bangkok

Days 3-4 Khao Sok National Park

Day 15 Jakarta

Indonesia's sprawling capital, Jakarta is a vast cultural melting pot which reflects the many faces of modern Indonesia.

Day 16 Bandung

Once known as the 'Paris of Java', Bandung still retains relics of its Dutch colonial past with some fine examples of architecture from that era.

Days 17-18 Pangandaran

A small fishing village popular with visitors looking for a coastal escape, Pangandaran offers fine-sand beaches, cottage industries and an impressive green canyon.

Days 19-21 Yogyakarta

Java's cultural heart is an Intrepid favourite. From batik workshops to the nearby Hindu and Buddhist temples, 'Yogya' is one of South-East Asia's gems.

Day 22 Seloliman Nature Reserve

Situated on the slopes of the sacred Penanggungan volcano, the peaceful Seloliman Nature Reserve is home to an environmental education centre set amid rice paddies and rainforest.

Day 23 Mt Bromo

Set in the timeless homeland of the Tenggerese, the smoking crater of Mt Bromo is a spectacular sight as it sits inside the massive Tengger caldera.

Day 24 Kalibaru

Surrounded by coffee planations and beautiful mountain scenery, Kalibaru is a small hillside village with a pleasant climate.

Days 25-26 Tanah Lot

Home to one of Bali's most famous and venerated temples, Tanah Lot is a stunning sight best viewed at sunset.

Days 27-28 Ubud

As Bali's main arts and cultural centre, Ubud is a wonderful place to experience the magic that has made this such a popular travel destination.
