Day 1 Delhi

Arrive in the Indian capital and perhaps get oriented with a city tour to some of Delhi's major sights and attractions, including the President's Palace, India Gate and the Rajpath. Or simply dive into the hustle and bustle of daily life on a jaunt through Old Delhi.

Days 2-3 Amristar

Get on the road and travel to Amritsar, home to the famous Golden Temple. Explore this grand complex, discovering its significance to the Sikh religion before making camp in the grounds of a local guesthouse.

Days 4-5 Dharamasala

Make tracks into the mighty Himalayas and visit the home of the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala.

Days 6-7 Shimla

Venture high into the heart of the mountains to Shimla. Explore this delightful hill-hugging city, which was declared the summer capital of the British Raj in India in 1864. In free time, take the opportunity to visit the majestic Viceregal Lodge.

Day 8 Bush Camp

Journey toward India’s national parks, stopping to camp in the pristine countryside.

Days 9-10 Corbett National Park

Keep eyes peeled for tigers while on a jeep safari in Corbett National Park. Soak up the tranquil park surrounds, listen to the nearby chatter of native birds, or head off on an optional walking tour or elephant trek.

Days 11-12 Royal Bardia National Park

Farewell the mountains of India and cross into Nepal. Enjoy more exciting game drives in Royal Bardia before chilling out at the park lodge.

Day 13 Butwal

Set out across the Nepalese countryside, passing through remote villages and an ever-changing terrain.

Days 14-15 Pokhara

Arrive in pristine Pokhara to revel in crisp mountain air and soak up immensely beautiful scenery. While here, perhaps indulge in some of the many outdoor activities on offer such as whitewater rafting and trekking.

Days 16-17 Kathmandu

Travel from Pokhara to Kathmandu, the eclectic, chaotic capital of Nepal. Experience the full gamut of flavours, sights and sounds in this bustling city.

Days 18-19 Royal Chitwan National Park

After the bustle and crush of Kathmandu, travel down to the jungle lowlands for a touch of peace and quiet. Visit the local elephants and seek out rare wildlife in the Royal Chitwan National Park.

Day 20 Sonauli

Spend a morning seeking out Chitwan's shy and rare one-horned rhino on a jungle walk or jeep safari then travel to the Nepal-India border.

Days 21-22 Varanasi

Set on the banks of the sacred River Ganges, Varanasi is awash with sights and sounds to overwhelm the senses. Learn the different uses of the ghats - both spiritual and secular.

Days 23-24 Bandhavgarh National Park

Visit a second Indian national park - this one is famous for its tiger population. Take a safari and keep an eye out for the big cats, as well as deer, hyenas and porcupines.

Days 25-26 Khajuraho

Khajuraho was once the capital of the Chandella Kings who built the magnificent Hindu and Jain temples here around 1000 AD. Considered to be 'one of the seven wonders of India', the temples have been almost perfectly preserved.

Days 27-28 Agra

Home to the glorious Taj Mahal, Agra also boasts the sprawling Red Fort. Take a rickshaw ride to these impressive monuments.

Experience the eerie desolation of Fatehpur Sikri and explore the amazing palaces of the renowned 'Pink City'.

Days 31-32 Delhi
