Day 1 Athens
Begin the adventure in the gateway to the Greek Islands - the ancient city of Athens. Perhaps arrive early to see the renowned changing of the guard and take a warm up stroll the National Gardens, be inspired by the original Olympic Stadium or simply stand in awe of the Acropolis.

Days 2-3 Naxos
Jump aboard a ferry bound for the beaches and Byzantine churches of Naxos. Explore the main town, Hora, and wander through streets filled with craft shops, chapels and quaint restaurants. The next day, trek to the lush valley of Tragea, famous for its ancient olive and citrus groves. This authentic part of the island is home to some seriously picturesque villages.

Days 4-5 Santorini
Catch a ferry to the iconic blue and white buildings of Santorini. Take some time to explore the cosmopolitan town of Thira before tackling the ‘Cliff Trail’ to Oia. Be left breathless by ever-present views out over the Aegean as the trail winds gently up to the edge of the volcanic caldera. Reach Oia and wind through narrow streets, whitewashed houses, boutiques, galleries and cafes, enjoying some time to relax and soak up the seaside culture.

Days 6-7 Paros
Transfer to Parikia and be romanced by the distinct medieval atmosphere of its piazza. Walk to the famous Cathedral of Ekatontapiliani, one of the earliest Christian churches in Europe, and follow a 1000 year-old Byzantine road all the way to the east coast of Paros.

Day 8 Athens
Fill the lungs with some final Mediterranean air on the return to Athens.
